JOHANNESBURG, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Sunday urged the German side to encourage the European Union (EU) to view China-EU ties with a broader vision, a longer-term perspective and a more open mindset.
In his meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on the sidelines of the 20th Group of 20 (G20) Summit, Li also expressed the hope that Germany can help push the EU to adhere to its position as a partner of China, enhance dialogue and cooperation between the two sides, and jointly promote the development and prosperity of China and the EU.
