Keats School aims to provide intensive short-term Chinese language instruction to overseas students. Our teachers all received professional training in the teaching of Chinese as second language at Beijing Language University. We use teaching material which is published by Beijing Language University Press. In order to meet the needs of students at different stages of Chinese language learning, we offer one to one education. We use versatile methods and a variety of activities to teach Mandarin. After the courses, students will be able to speak freely with local Chinese.

The program fee covers everything such as tuition, accommodation, meals, Internet, laundry, teaching materials, placement test Accident Insurance and so on, 24-hour support and assistance from our friendly, English-speaking staff. Therefore, Keats School has a teaching quality control team, which is responsible for checking teacher’s preparation, organizing teaching conference every two weeks, training new teachers, and collecting students’ feedback form every week to make improvements in time.

Our teachers, with a strong sense of responsibility, are evaluated by students and their supervisor every week. The feedback is used to help the teachers improve the Chinese instruction. In order to have a perfect Chinese course and achieve an excellent result, you can tell us your real feeling about the lessons by filling the evaluation form, and we will make changes in your class based on your requirements to attain a better result. Keats teachers have teaching conference every two weeks to communicate new methods of teaching and students’ feedback.

Other Activities:

Students will visit the places of interest around Kunming or taste Chinese food in spare time. We provide eight hours of Chinese culture lessons each week. Regardless of how long you study at our school, you will learn about one of the world’s richest cultures and oldest civilizations.

Facility Information:

We provide comfortable single dorm rooms for students located in the same building as the school. Eating in our school is much more convenient than eating outside. Most of our students choose to eat in our school because we offer a variety of Chinese food every meal.
