Rising in southeast part of Jilin Province, Changbai Mountain is located on the border between China and North Korea. Considered as the most famous mountain in northeast China, Changbai Mountain has rich biodiversity, vertical zonal distribution of plants, and a great variety of wild animals due to the varied topography, soil, weather and other natural conditions. With an average altitude of 2,000 meters, the mountain is well-known for its snowy scenery, cool summers and an abundance of mineral springs. After June, when other places become sweltering, Changbai Mountain is an ideal place to get a refreshing escape.

Admission: 100 yuan for adults; 50 yuan for kids

Opening hour: 8:00-16:00

Getting there: You can fly to Changbai Mountain Airport from Beijing, Changchun or Yanji; or take train to Chaoyang County or Songjianghe stations, and then transfer travel bus to Changbai Mountain.
