Yangzhou

Sitting on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, Yangzhou is a city situated in the center of Jiangsu Province. Yangzhou has been recommend as a must-go for a wonderful spring experience over the past hundreds of years just as the old saying goes "heading east for Yangzhou among hazy vernal hues." Among lots of scenic spots in the city, the most famous include Slender West Lake, Daming Temple, the Pavilion of Flourishing Culture, Shita Temple, Ge Garden, He Garden and Yechun Garden. Every April, a festival is held by the local government, which attracts travelers from home and abroad to enjoy the spring scenery.
