Special People's Courts

Special people's courts are set up in specific departments or for hearing specific cases, but not for any specific administrative areas. They include military courts, maritime courts, intellectual property courts, and financial courts. These special courts are a component of China's system of people's courts. They exercise jurisdiction the same as other courts at all levels. The setup, organization, functions, and powers of the special courts and the appointment and removal of their judges are all prescribed by the NPC Standing Committee.

專門人民法院

專門人民法院是在特定部門或對特定案件設立的審判機關，而不是按行政區域設立的審判機關，包括軍事法院和海事法院、知識產權法院、金融法院等。專門人民法院是中國人民法院系統的組成部分，與各級人民法院共同行使國家的審判權。專門人民法院的設置、組織、職權和法官任免，由全國人民代表大會常務委員會規定。
