China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) has launched a number of new key projects across the country, contributing to local ecological protection, infrastructure development, better living environment, as well as the tourism and leisure industries.

Ecological protection

The Lishui River project in Foshan

This project is located in Nanhai district of Foshan in Guangdong province, and covers a basin area of 66.01 square kilometers. It aims to improve the water environment and promote the water culture. Upon completion, it will make Foshan greener and more beautiful, and support the city's sustainable development.

Xiangyang water protection project

This project is located in Xiangzhou district of northwestern Xiangyang, Hubei province, and stretches for 10.5 kilometers. It is a vivid example of the coordinated development of socio-economic development and ecological development. After the project is completed, it will play a positive role in building an environment with beautiful mountains, clear rivers, and green lands.

Infrastructure development

Section LRTLSG-3 of the new Laixi-Rongcheng railway station front project: Boosting the integration of the Jiaodong economic circle 

Located in the southeastern part of Shandong's Jiaodong Peninsula, this project has a construction length of about 48.46 kilometers. It will effectively improve the road network in the Jiaodong Peninsula and promote the development of Shandong into a province that is strong in transportation.

The Erqi Square tunnel project: A key livelihood project in Zhengzhou and a major project of road renovation

The total length of the project is 1,370 meters. Upon completion, it will effectively improve traffic of the square's surrounding area and contribute to Zhengzhou's economic development.

Section One of the Yantai Penglai International Airport Phase II Terminal 2 project: A major project in the 13th Five-Year Plan period in Shandong province

Located in the town of Chaoshui in Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone, this project covers a total construction area of 172,000 square meters. It is a national Class I airport and an iconic gateway of Yantai to the world.

The relocation and laying of 330kV overhead transmission line project in northeastern Xi'an

The total cable length of the project is over 70 kilometers, which is the largest-scale and most high-tech project of relocating and laying ultra-high voltage cables in China to date. Upon completion, it will further optimize the cable network systems in northeastern part of Xi'an, and provide favorable conditions for the construction of the venues for the 14th National Games and its ancillary facilities, the Silk Road International Convention and Exhibition Center, and other major projects.

Improvement of the living environment

Longquan Renju project in Kuiwen district, Weifang, Shandong province

The project is located in Wujia village, Nianlipu street, Kuiwen district, Weifang, Shandong province. With a total construction area of 280,000 square meters, the project aims to improve the urban functions of Weifang, produce solutions for the difficulties encountered by low-income families, and enhance the quality of people's lives. 

Lot 12-06 of Pudong Re-housing Project in Shanghai 

Located in Caolu Town of Pudong New Area, Shanghai, Lot 12-06 covers an area of 12,000 square meters with a total construction area of approximately 38,000 square meters, 35% of which is green space. As Pudong New Area's most significant livelihood project, it is known as the opening chapter of the new era of public housing development in the industry. 

Shouheng Lingyu General Contracting Project in Caofeidian 

Located in Caofeidian Industrial Park, Tangshan, Hebei province, with a construction area of 122,800 square meters, the project is constructed to attract and accommodate nearly 2,000 workers to further the development of the industrial zone. 

Bolster the growth of tourism and leisure industry

Zhongyuan Rongchuang Cultural Tourism City Project

Located in the Pingyuan Demonstration Zone of Xinxiang, Henan province, with a total construction area of about 200,000 square meters, the project is built to fill the gap in the high-end ice and snow entertainment service in central Henan, enriching the sporting activities and cultural tourism in the region. 

Bailu Island Project of Jialong International Tourism Resort 

Located along the coast of Bohai Sea, it is one of the key cultural and tourism projects in Qinhuangdao. Upon completion, it will promote the transformation of the local tourism industry from sightseeing-oriented to leisure-and-vacation-oriented, and refine the "taste of Qinhuangdao."

Sanya Joy City Urban Complex Project – Sanya's Central Business District and a new landmark  

Located in a large business district in Sanya, Hainan province, with a total construction area of approximately 120,000 square meters, the project is constructed to be a new landmark of culture, tourism, and innovative business in the fashion industry, reinvigorating the development of Hainan Free Trade Port.
