Hollywood actress and singer Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to jail Tuesday, but the show is not over. Close-up photos show that while in court the 24-year-star’s left middle finger has an F-word on it, which caused a big stir.

Lohan made no comments on her manicure as for whom the obscene messages were directed to until Wednesday afternoon when she twittered on the incident.

"Didn't we do our nails as a joke with our friend?" Lohan Tweeted to a friend. "It had nothing to do w/court. It’s an airbrush design from a stencil."

A Beverly Hills judge ruled Tuesday that actress Lindsay Lohan violated the terms of her probation in a pair of drunk driving cases by missing multiple classes at a court-ordered alcohol-education program and sentenced her to 90 days in jail.

The 24-year-old former Disney star broke down sobbing when Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel pronounced the sentence. She was ordered to surrender in Revel's courtroom on July 20 to begin serving her jail term in Los Angeles County Jail.
